Who is October

I know who October is!
Sorry, I'm a little hyper on caffeine. I just glugged two diet cokes and came back from The Core. I really liked that movie. I know only just enough about geology to know the whole premise is a load of crap, but the writing, I thought, and the acting, again, I thought, was wicked cool. The guy who rescued this project, well, one of them, is a friend of the Snail, John Rogers. Mega cool guy who you've actually most likely met. I've heard he's frequented your location as well.
Anyway, while I'm still tripping on Diet Stimulant (which I think may have provided the spring-board to the vision quest providing the answer to the whole October conundrum) I will detail my deduction.

The whole thing is, October isn't truly a person. October is a shadowy figure, contrived by trauma and fear. But, this emotional conglomeration has gained a kind of sentience. October is the antagonist that drives *Sarrah* to continue. October has *Sarrah* (who I'm going to call Coolio from here on in) convinced that October is necessary to the continued life of Coolio. When things get rough, which they seem to be more often than not, October lends its strength to the situation, dismissing Coolio. The thing is, Coolio is stronger, more clever and darker than October originally thought. Coolio has not just accepted the help of October, but learned to express itself through October. See the world and appreciate it through the perspective of October, making a kind of Cool October. However, October, from time to time, tries to find its feet and makes autonomous acts, flexing tendrils of self-deprecation and masochism. But Cool October returns, as it always does. Ambiuous and certain. Dark coolness, wrapped in the warm colours of a passing season.

Either that, or it's a squid. I'm sort of half and half on this one. It's a big squid, though. I'm fairly certain of that.
But, I'll send you a picture of what I think October looks like, not bound into Cool October, but on its own, roaming.

-Dave
