2012, the magic year?
I find it hard to completely discount the 2012 as being propagated by some radical fanatics when you take into account the various goings on in the world. It is not inconceivable there could be a major change that year. 2012 is sometimes claimed to be a great year of spiritual transformation (or apocalypse). Many esoteric sources interpret the completion of the twelfth B'ak'tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calendar (which occurs on December 21 by the most widely held correlation) to mean there will be a major change in world order. The Mayan Prophecies linked the Maya calendar with long-period sunspot cycles, and if you all take a moment to watch this documentary you will see that the truth is indeed about sunspot cycles. This will show the “fashionable” global warming movement has a lot to do with money and little to do with saving the earth. While I do not dispute we are a cruel and vicious species when it comes to our love of the planet I still encourage you to watch this, you will not feel the same about it afterwards.

NASA also predicts that the Sun will also reverse its own magnetic poles during 2012 as result of reaching the end of current 11-year sunspot cycle. Some believe this will amplify the effects of retarding magnetic field on earth, as harmful charged particles blasted away from the sun would more easily penetrate the earth's atmosphere. Do you think the correlation between scientific studies and the Mayan 2012 are just coincidence?
Perhaps our world is in need of a change. You cannot deny it has always been, and seems even more so now, a corrupt place feeding the powerful and neglecting the poor. We are awash in such shameful goings on I do not know how people just march off to work everyday and not be horrified. We have little respect for each other, let alone our very earth that sustains us, perhaps a change, one of huge proportions is needed to bring the world to some order, to a new beginning where those who are left do not embark on the same path.
So what can we do? Try and become that person you always said you would become if you only had time. Live our lives to the fullest, everyday, not worrying about the future or what it holds, while respecting that our time could be limited.
