Brainwashed

I believe with all my heart that the majority of the population is completely brainwashed and live their lives doing as they are told and what is expected of them as dictated by the masses. But who are the masses? They are no more than men, primarily our ancestors mistakes passed on from generation to generation, fallible, human and very misguided in many ways. We wake up and have our coffee or tea, eat your large breakfast that consists of dead flesh or milk. Then go off to our jobs that we will spend our lives at, paying the government taxes they no longer need, to keep the rich happy. While some of us are happy and content at what we are doing, satisfied we are contributing to the collective in a manner that will please our peers, our imaginary playmate in the sky, most are underpaid, abused and neglected.

What if we were never meant to live in a society where we were governed? What if life was meant to be a collective of learning and spiritual growth? What if we were meant to live as equals, respecting and caring for the well being of others? Well, wake up and smell the roses you are saying. I will concede that a UTOPIA based on learning and peace and love would be hard to maintain given our lust for blood and the enormity of our very world population, however every day when I see TV ads, magazine ads, commercials, trailers, comments, activities, do and do not’s of what we must have and need in life, Oprah telling us how to live the good life, Dr. Phil telling us how to be the good wife, I am more convinced we are fast becoming a world of violent animals whose lust for what we have been told is the “Good Life.” Is the GOOD LIFE about money? The creators of the movie “THE SECRET” are taking an age old idea of the laws of attraction and turning it into a stream of wealth for them. I ask you, do you really believe that the power of positive thinking is something new and will always, without question, get you the life you deserve? And is this life material wealth based, as I feel the basis of what they are saying is about?

The more I hear about Doctors and specialist telling the world how it should eat and how to not be unhealthy and obese the more I realize how totally out of touch we have become. Advertising has done its job well; they may as well have put implants in everyone’s brains and wiped out common sense. Do you really think that your imaginary friend created cows so we could drink their milk? Who says it is good for you? Why do you believe it? Do you also think this same imaginary friend created all living, breathing, feeling beings for us to use at our disposal? Or rather we are all born, evolved and are existing in this very same place? The evil is man made, I guarantee it.

Let me tell you how to be healthy. Eat lots of grains, greens and fruit. Walk a lot. Try and not watch too much TV, it is a mind killer. Believe in life as it were meant to be, music, sound, natural foods. Question authority. Do not believe a Government run by ego-based men who only care about wealth and power. Fight for woman’s rights. Do not wake up each morning and list the things you hate, the things you do not like, but rather the things you want, the things you like. While the list of do not likes can be all encompassing in this silly world we have created, you are still in it and negative begets negative.

Stop being a part of the masses that contribute to the decline of our world. Recycle. Shop smart. Care about animals. Don’t smoke. Walk more. Find groups and people who are like minded, there is power in numbers. Stop talking so much, we are a race of people who know infinitely more about less and less. Be real.
