A world of hate

Why does it seem, that extremist fanatic religious sects hate women so much? They use the guise of religion to mask an intense insecurity and fear of women, who are systematically killed in barbaric stoning rituals or executed by firing squads. What has happened to these societies that has completely broken down the bond that is supposed to exist between men and women and made women no more important that a piece of live stock. Surely most are treated as such, forced into loveless marriages to produce a male offspring and live a life of servitude, slaving to the end of her days managing her home and all the relatives she inherited through the marriage. Hopefully she marries someone who does not view wife beating as a sport or a means to elevate his frail ego. Why does it seem that in countries where fanatic religion is prevalent, women are the ones who suffer at the hands of men, who should be protecting them.

The worse thing we can ever do is take a man, give him a religious belief that makes him feel superior, with a dash of some imaginary afterlife for being pious, add the evil woman into the mix and what you have are countries awash in backwards thinking, immoral behavior and a total and complete disregard for human life.

If a boy rapes his sister in Iraq, she is stoned to death for shaming the family, he gets a few lashes. Tell me then, what kind of backwards moronic thinking sees this shame as hers? He should be punished for his crime. But there you have it. Men do not commit crime, they are the chosen ones, the ones who follow their god, they cannot help it if they kill, rape, commit incest. The evil woman threw her vagina in front of him and made him do it. The Mother whose husband is gone and is not allowed to work and has no way to support her family turns to prostitution, and is stoned to “teach” other women a lesson on being immoral. Has a man EVER been stoned to death, or punished for brutally murdering a wife, a daughter? I highly doubt it. God forbid these countries look at the real problem, the root of the problem, in which doing so would make their economies stronger and more productive. You cannot grow where there is no equality, time and time again they are shown this and nothing changes. Equality, in every aspect.

There are so many, too many countries where women are completely disrespected and treated with no regard. There are far too many regimes where men sit in power dictating old and decaying beliefs to those who feel they must follow, afraid and ignorant, men and woman alike. Ignorance is inherited. So is religion. This has nothing to do with politics, the world is fucked, we all know it, we do what we can to help or change it, but change must some from within. Blaming the evil US or past infractions does little to change the here and now.

Perhaps I am just as evil, because when I hear about yet another girl being stoned to death by a mob of ignorant power hungry men, dropping cement slabs on her head, well it makes me want to get some big ass slabs myself and drop them on a few male heads.
