I
swear to Christ, the next time some man calls me sweetie I am
going to kick him in the sac. Hard. I can't stand that sort
of thing. I find it extremely demeaning for a man to call me
anything other than Miss or Ma'am. Anything else and it's borderline
red flag for me.
Why
are there so many nicknames for women? Think about it. There's
chick, babe, honey, sweetie, dear, pumpkin, peach, ARGH!!
I have to stop writing about this. Tonight is the first night
in a while that my beloved and I are actually going to be
able to see each other and I donŠt want to wreck it by being
all pissy. Cause guaranteed heŠs going to call me one of those,
and I don't want to kick him.
But
seriously, think about it. We've been struggling for so long
to try and be equal to men yet they call us retarded pet names.
Why does there have to be another name? Isn't my name good
enough for you? Or is it that youŠve forgotten it? Hmm. Something
to think about.
