Nancy Drew Anonymity vs. Non-Anonymity I say non-anonymity because I think it would be cocky of me to say "fame". I'm far from famous. As glorious as fame seems to me from time to time,

Piece of Writing
I
have a bad habit
I'm trying to
start, she thought
to herself. She
wrote in her journal
with her right
hand while her
left hand ungracefully
held the cigarette.
From time to time
she took a swig
of the hot brown
liquid in the
paper to go cup
beside her.

Girl's Love For
Coffee and Other
Musings My
passion (love
that word) for
coffee runs deep.
So deep in fact,
that I asked -
no demanded -
my mother send
me her shelved
Espresso maker.
So, wrapped it
up tight she did,
fearful of the
"slaughtering"
that the Canadian
postal service
inflicts on each
coveted parcel.

He hasn't written.
We haven't run
into each other
in the street.

Drew Excuse
Me, But Did You
Drop Your Thong?
If
you take a stroll
down to Yonge and
Dundas Street in
Toronto right now,
you'll find a white
lacy thong lying
on the sidewalk.
I can't help but
wonder why it's
there or rather
how it made its
way from being snug
around some young
lady's heinie to
sitting in a heap
on the curb.

Girl's Will To Live
(The Bitch Is Back)
Some of us wither
and die in some
urine-soaked alleyway
when we get beaten
down by the fallen
tree branches of
life, but some of
us like Sinead O'Connor
for example, do
not. We rise and
come forth like
a phoenix angel.
Nancy
Drew "Gunshots
& Cumshots"
Subversive,
Perversive and Screwing
the Enemy. Those
were my two runner-ups
for titles. I think
they're pretty good,
but I've settled
on Gunshots and
Cumshots. It was
recently revealed
to me that something
someone says to
you can only be
interpreted as offensive
if you believe it.
Somebody I have
gotten to know recently
has hurt my feelings.
I suppose it hurt
more than usual
because I have a
crush on this person,
have grown to care
about his person.

Drew Mean
Girls and The Retirement
of Nancy Drew I
watched Mean Girls
on DVD last weekend.
It was mediocre
at best. I think
I could have been
a Mean Girl. In
fact, I think I
was one on more
than one occasion.
