The Secret

No, I don’t have a secret, what I would like to do is spew acidic, dragon induced fire about a video called The Secret. Recently I have been going through a very heart breaking situation. Because of my mood or state of mind as it was referred to, two people have told me I need to watch The Secret. I have seen it, when it first came out, and am guilty of falling for the hype as many of us do with most new movies releases. I’m a very open minded person, but as far as I am concerned, The Secret is a load of crap. All it is, is a marketing scam piece of brain washing propaganda. You can’t get what you want by wishing it people. You have to do it, go out, fight for it. Sitting and scrunching your faces up and clenching your fists and saying ‘please can I have it, please I want it, I am sending positive energy out the to get it. Blah Blah Blah...’ them and Dr. Ho and what ever miracle he is selling today blah.... It’s nothing more than an infomercial.

You really want your wishes to come true, lay out a plan, knock on doors, fight like hell to get it. Don’t stand back crying the blues that nothing good ever comes your way. Because you know what... it won’t. No video is going to fix or change your life. You are the only one that can change it by believing in yourself and going for it. If I let every DVD I watched be the path I took, I would be a full time mental patient.

Right now it’s The Secret, tomorrow some other Jolly Roger will have a new way for you to make your dreams come true... ten years ago it was that Tim Robbins guy. You know who got rich because of his knowledge. Tim Robbins and his distributors. You know who is getting rich from The Secret. The people who created it and their distributors. Your not going to get rich from watching the DVD. What you will be is out of pocket for what ever the DVD cost you and will have lost all the hours you spent watching it. (I pity you if you actually took the courses) If you didn’t get a free set of Ginsue knives with it, you should be really pissed off right now.

I am going to tell you a secret... THERE IS NO SECRET! Just go after what you want. End of story. I also swear to the Goddess if one more person says to me to watch it or... that the right one is out there for me, I am going to punch them in the face!!!
