WHERE ART THOU WARNEFORD

Lindsay… come home… I miss you too much!

My best friend moved to California in the fall of 2003. She first decided to move away from our cold country to be with a man. She fell in love and decided to stay in Venice Beach with him. Months had passed and since, she decided that she is better off on her own spending time meeting interesting people and visiting the ocean.

I really miss her. I miss her a lot. And I want her to come home. She wants me to visit, but it’s hard to travel when you’re a college student (no time or money). I’m happy for her and proud that she’s accomplishing so much, but there’s no one else in the World like her to me.

I know we’ll see each other again soon… but it won’t be soon enough…

I wrote this poem for her:

WHERE ART THOU WARNEFORD

I have this best friend Lindsay, but I haven't seen her in awhile.

The memory of her is starting to fade, fading with her smile.

You see, my best friend left me... to be with the ocean blue.

But now being here without her, I don't know what to do.

It's been so long since we met. I run out of words to say.

I only hope she knows inside... I think of her everyday.

Times are changing quickly and she's growing up so fast.

I wonder if she remembers... remembers about the past.

I have this best friend Lindsay, but I haven't seen her in awhile.

And although it has been a long time, I'll try to keep a smile.
