Since
Ive attended college, I have lived in six different
places. And if its not obvious enough then I will
tell you
Im sick and tired of moving.
Moving
is said to be one of the most stressful things for any woman
to tackle. Being at the peak of my graduating year, the
nuisance of packing up my life into multiple amounts of
boxes continues.
And
its not only the packing that gets me, its returning
the keys, terminating the condo contract, signing new contracts,
disconnecting and reconnecting cable and phone, forwarding
mail to the new address, and another payment of first and
last months rent. Its frustrating.
The
only thing that makes all of this worth while is the fact
that Ill be moving out of Rexdale and knowing that
I will never, ever, live here again!!!
My
boyfriend and I spent the past month apartment hunting in
the Bloor West Village area. Hes currently working
in the district. I have never been there before until now,
but let me tell you, I was shocked when he first showed
me.
I
loved it, the people, the park and the beauty. In a strange
way, I felt like I was back in the Ottawa Valley.
We
found out last week that our credit check was approved to
live at the High Park Village apartments. I fell in love
more with the community, than the apartment. The apartment
is just the bonus, a place to sleep.
We're
literally steps away from the High Park subway station,
theres two outdoor pools, a tennis court, a fitness
club and barbeque patio area. Its perfect.
So
yes, its true. Theres only three more weeks
to go and its,
"Goodbye
Rexdale, Hello High Park!
Im
so excited that this past weekend I decided to get a head
start with the packing. I have over twelve boxes stuffed,
but it still doesnt seem like I did anything at all.
I
have waited four years to move closer to downtown and even
though itll be a pain in the ass to get everything
down there, I believe it will be alright in the end because
I know this summer is going to be one of the best.
