| If
you aren't going to pay attention to your children, why do you
have them? Case in point. I am in the Gap Kids and
this woman was ripping through the racks. Her kids were
running wild through the store. And one of her kids (a
3 year old boy) even wandered out in the mall at one point.
For about 30 minutes I watched this woman. Not once did
she even acknowledge her children. The only way I knew
she had kids was when one of her children came up to her with
a pair of pajama bottoms and said. "Mommy can I buy
these". Her mother ignored her and the girl then
started crying and had a tantrum. Her mother walked away.
Once this woman decided she was done, she went to the line to
pay for the items she had picked up, but before doing so, decided
to holler at the top of her lungs, several times for her children
to COME! They didn't and when she was finished paying
she found them near the entrance. Here she grabbed their
arms and proceeded to curse at them. When I say curse,
I really mean it, she was calling them Fucking idiots, did you
buggers hear me calling and so on. And when the 3 year
old began to cry, she decided hollering at him, WHAT THE FUCK
IF WRONG WITH YOU! was a better way to handle the situation.
I am seeing these types of situations more and more. It
also trends towards the women who are very young. Suggesting
that they were probably teen mothers. The woman from above
was probably in her early 20's and her kids were around 3 and
7 yrs of age. Once upon a time, I remember a law was going
to be passed forcing first time parents to take parenting classes.
Of course this law never passed and it probably should have.
The end result is these children will not learn how to properly
act within society and end up on the wrong side of the tracks.
I don't blame this on the kids, I completely blame the parents.
